The AdvanceAg 2021 conference was on Sunday 17 and Monday 18 October 2021 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Almost 500 delegates attended the event, which had an impressive program of speakers from across Australia, as well as keynote speaker Peter Wren-Hilton who presented from New Zealand.
The AdvanceAg conference 2022 date is not yet confirmed.
Primary industries are vitally important to South Australia. In 2018/19, primary industries and agribusiness supported 115,000 jobs and contributed $15.9 billion to the state's economy. It accounted for 47% of the state's merchandise exports.
Supporting innovation and advancement in the field of AgTech is essential to increase the productivity, growth and sustainability of primary industry in our state.
AdvanceAg is delivered by the Government of South Australia through the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA). It is an initiative of the South Australian AgTech Advisory Group, established by the State Government to grow South Australia’s primary industries.
